To coincide with the 144th Open Golf Championship, Americian publisher Joshua Evenson produced a stunning book called ‘Links to St. Andrews’. I was asked to contribute 6 original artworks, which would feature as colour illustrations.
The book will be available to buy from Thursday 16th July 2015, however there are 100 limited edition copies which will be auctioned, and are expected to fetch £6000 each. These special editions contain a sheet of paper, made from grass taken from a golf course, which has been signed by the great and the good of golf, and by all the contributing artist and writers – myself included.
The 6 paintings I produced have all sold.
However they are being exhibited during The Open this weekend in the Old Course hotel.
