May 4th 2016 saw a most important landmark in my painting career, as my 21st solo exhibition with Thompson’s Gallery London opened, with 50 new works on display. The exhibition was a great success, with around 50% of the works selling. Here are a few photographs taken on the opening night…

It was a great pleasure to welcome Ken Howard OBE, RA to my studio in Paisley while he attended a major exhibition in The Glasgow Art Club.

Having served as President of Glasgow Art Club, for 3 years I am currently enjoying my role as Immediate Past President.  I am pleased to continue my association with this famous and historic club in the centre of Glasgow.

In 2010 Robert was awarded an Honorary Degree of Master of the University of The West of Scotland. MUniv.
